But building such a being is no easy feat, and the team behind Figure acknowledges that building an in-house AI system that can support their humanoids to perform everyday tasks autonomously poses a formidable challenge. However, they remain undaunted, with Adcock stating that they are tackling this issue by building intelligent embodied agents that can interact with complex and unstructured real-world environments.
Despite being a relatively new company, founded just last year in 2022, Figure is making strides in the creation progress and process of the AI humanoid robot. The tech team is hopeful that they can build Figure 01 with human-like capabilities that can provide varying types of support depending on the situation.
