Space to Culture competition’s Winners by YAC

Space To Culture

The results for the latest Young Architects Competition (YAC), Space To Culture, have been announced.

YAC, in partnership with Nute partecipazioni, has offered the chance to redesign a 15.000 square-meters disused factory into a space for leisure time, entertainment, culture and art. High-quality proposals coming from over 70 countries were gathered. Moreover, OMA, Dogma, The Plan magazine, Bologna and Roma University and several other figures have contributed to the competition.

The dates:

18 NOV 2013 – 24 FEB 2014 registration period
10 MAR 2014 – submission deadline

The prizes:

1° PRIZE 8’000 €; 2° PRIZE 4’000 €; 3° PRIZE 2’000 €; 2 x “GOLD” HONORABLE MENTIONS 500 €;10 HONORABLE MENTIONS..
