Maritime Cultural & Pop Music Center in Kaohsiung by MADE IN

This Proposer for the Maritime Cultural & Pop Music Center by Spanish architecture firm (MADE IN) after their winning the international Competition in Kaohsiung city, Taiwan.

With a surface of more than 100,000 square meters (80,000 square meters, plus 20,000 square meters of open air public space) and a budget of 100 million Euros and the construction work will start in a few months, this project will be the most important and biggest developments ever built by this firm outside of Spain.

This project proposes a responsible urbanism based on the heterogeneity of the program, on the urban porosity and on the adaptability to the different situations and events.
The project will consist of two auditoriums, one exterior for 12,000 people have bay views and an interior for 3,500 seats. Also there is a maritime museum, a music museum, Eight small auditoriums (150 to 400 seats), and a comercial area of (20,000 m2)

The project proposes a series of buildings and public spaces that will articulate and animate the Love River Bay which is one of the most important parts of the city.
